![]() The visuals of DUSK on PC and Switch are reminiscent of classics from the 1990s, so the production does not look particularly impressive, although it evokes a sense of nostalgia. ![]() The aforementioned campaign is accompanied by a competition-based multiplayer mode (in the form of an arena for two players) and the Endless Survival Mode variant, in which we can face successive waves of enemies. It is worth mentioning that the clashes here are extremely brutal in nature. Various opponents stand in our way - in addition to well-armed soldiers, we face crazy, hooded cultists. The gameplay takes place in diverse locations - from quite modern, urban buildings, through churches, to dark, gloomy underground. We are given at our disposal an extensive arsenal, which includes not only pistols, machine guns and grenade launchers, but also sickles and even crossbows. During the single-player campaign, divided into episodes, we face hordes of enemies endowed with supernatural abilities. MechanicsÄUSK is a shooter in which the action is presented from a first-person perspective. However, the plot is only a pretext for spectacular, brutal gameplay. The player must face not only mysterious cultists, but also dark forces not from this world. The developer was inspired by cult productions from the 1990s, led by the first installment of the Quake series, Hexen, or even Redneck Rampage. DUSK for PC and Switch is the work of independent developer David Szymanski, published by New Blood Interactive.
